image processing tools
Two image processing tools I recently added to my Photoshop CS plugins folder:
- FocalBlade — fancy image sharpening tool.
- PTLens — free Photoshop plug-in that automates correction lens pincushion/barrel distortion, vignetting, and white balance
I’ve been eyeing PhotoKit and PhotoKit Sharpener too. I decided to go with FocalBlade because it seems easier to use and is cheaper than PK Sharpener. Fortunately, both are inexpensive enough that I could pick up PK Sharpener in the future without feeling like I wasted the money on FocalBlade.
NeatImage recently released version 5.0 and it was a free uprade for existing users. NeatImage is excellent noise reduction software. I run most of my higher ISO shots through it.
